H. Upmann 1844 Anejo

The draw is perfect right from the start, and that rich, earthy tobacco flavor really deepens as you smoke it down. The construction held a long, white ash for nearly the entire first third, which impressed me. I'm already looking forward to lighting another one.

This cigar feels more robust than your standard Connecticut, with a complexity that builds nicely through the second half. The draw is perfect right out of the wrapper, producing a thick, smooth smoke.

The blend of premium tobaccos delivers a noticeably richer smoke compared to other H. Upmann lines I've tried. It burned evenly and held a solid ash, which made for a thoroughly enjoyable hour.
