Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Broadleaf Maduro

The aged Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper gives this cigar a deep, earthy sweetness that comes through from the very first draw. Burn stayed razor sharp down to the nub, and the draw was effortless the whole way through—this one’s earned its spot in my regular rotation.

Bought a box of these for my father-in-law’s birthday and ended up smoking one myself that same night. The aged Broadleaf wrapper burns nice and slow, with a dark, earthy sweetness that lingered pleasantly between puffs. Definitely a step up from the usual sticks I grab.

The Broadleaf wrapper gives it a nice, rich sweetness right off the draw, and the burn stayed razor sharp to the end. Only knock is it needed a little more time in the humidor to really open up, but that's on me for being impatient.
