The Sumatra wrapper burns beautifully even, and that soft box press makes it feel almost delicate until you light it, then it just opens up with that Nicaraguan depth. I smoked one down to the nub without touching it up once, which never happens with me.

The Ecuador Sumatra wrapper gives this cigar a nice, smooth draw right from the start, and the box press feels perfect in the hand. I’ve been smoking it for about a week now and the burn stays even all the way through, which is something I really appreciate.

The box-pressed shape is comfortable in hand, but the draw was a bit tighter than I prefer. The flavor is decent but didn’t really evolve much through the smoke.
